Draft replies to saved posts for review

Saved Ledger supports an assistant-led reply workflow: select saved posts, draft responses using your writing brief, save drafts for review, then copy and publish each response yourself. Saving a draft does not post a comment to LinkedIn or X.

Prepare replies with the source in view

This workflow fits a deliberate review session: you have a category of posts worth responding to and want to contribute a specific experience or question. It requires imported posts and an authorised assistant connection. The assistant writes the draft; Saved Ledger keeps it associated with the post.

From a saved post to a reviewed reply

  1. Write a voice brief on Account, or provide your assistant with the relevant writing guidance and experience. Include only facts you want it to use.
  2. Give the assistant a category link and explain which posts to consider and what angle you want to explore.
  3. Review its chosen targets. Selection can use keywords and recency; AI ranking depends on provider availability and data-sharing consent.
  4. Ask for drafts grounded in the post and your supplied experience. Remove invented examples, unsupported numbers, and claims you would not make yourself.
  5. Save the reviewed drafts to Saved Ledger. Open the category’s Replies view to read them alongside their sources.
  6. Use Copy and Open post, then publish manually on the source platform. Mark the reply as posted after you have published it.

Example: respond to a technical trade-off

Illustrative prompt: “Choose three posts in this category about deployment reliability. Draft one reply each using only the experience in my brief. Ask for clarification where my experience does not support a claim.” The resulting text still needs your review before publication.

Control what leaves your ledger

An authorised assistant receives the post data returned by the tools it calls. Its own handling of that data depends on your assistant provider and settings. Server-side AI features are a separate data flow and depend on configuration and consent. Review those choices before using sensitive captured material.

Questions about replies

Will Saved Ledger publish replies for me?

No. You copy, open the original post, and publish yourself. Mark posted records your action in the ledger.

Can I use this without a voice brief?

You can give the assistant your angle in the conversation. It should ask for missing experience rather than inventing a biography or results.

Does a saved draft mean a reply was posted?

No. Draft and posted states are separate. Record a reply as posted only after checking the source platform.
